Help Local Families in Need

This year make your Maos Chitim as mehudar as your matzos!

Pesach is fast approaching. There are many households in our Greater Philadelphia Orthodox community that are in financial crisis without the means to buy what they need for yom tov. These are friends and neighbors, most of whom suffer in silence. How can we greet Pesach with a sense of freedom and joy while our neighbors struggle to buy even the most basic yom tov necessities?

Chesed Philly’s Tomchei Shabbos is providing Pesach food packages to over 100 local families in need. This special distribution will include matzah, wine, grape juice, chicken, meat, fish, eggs and more they otherwise could not afford.

Click here to donate or use the button below.

Your generous (tax deductible) donation to this Pesach campaign will help ensure that our community will be able to enter yom tov with dignity and peace of mind.

New Printing of Rabbi Hirsch's Pesach Books!

Dear All,
In anticipation of Passover—and with the complexities of Erev Pesach falling on Shabbat —we are reprinting two of Rabbi Hirsch's acclaimed books:

  • Pesach Without the Pain – A practical guide to the laws and practices of Passover, designed to make preparation easier and stress-free.

  • Bringing Order to the Seder – A modern guide to the traditional Passover Haggadah, offering insights to enhance and deepen the Seder experience.

For the first time, we are offering dedications and/or advertisements in these books, allowing you to include a personal message or ad in the new editions. Your message will be printed in this year’s books, ensuring that everyone who purchases a copy will see it. This is a meaningful opportunity to honor a loved one, commemorate an occasion, advertise a business or cause, or express gratitude in appreciation for all that Mekor has done for the community.

if you are interested in supporting this project, please fill out this formDedication opportunities are available at the same prices for both books.

Support Opportunities:

  • Acknowledgment: $54

  • Quarter Page Dedication: $100

  • Half-Page Dedication: $180

  • Full Page Dedication: $360

Payments can be made via Venmo to @Mekor-Habracha or at https://www.mekorhabracha.org/donate.html.
