High Holiday Reservations & Mekor Membership
High Holiday reservations are now closed. If you still need seats for Rosh Hashanah or Yom Kippur, please contact the shul directly. Mekor members attend free of charge and receive reduced guest prices. Every attendee, including every member, must reserve in advance to have a seat held. Guest, non-member, and student reservations are also available.

Yizkor Books 2026-2027
Mekor will again publish our Yizkor Book for use on Yom Kippur, Shemini Atzeret, Pesach, and Shavuot.
It will include Yizkor prayers and a special section dedicated to family and friends whom you wish to memorialize.
You can also contribute towards the Yizkor Books by a check made payable to the shul.
The deadline for the Yizkor Book has passed, but last-minute entries may still be accepted. Please submit right away or contact the shul.

Mekor, BZBI, and Shtiebel Sukkah Hop 2026
Everyone is welcome to join our Sukkah Hop on Shabbat, September 26 (first day of Sukkot) from 2:00pm to 5:00pm, in partnership with BZBI and South Philly Shtiebel. Go at your leisure anytime between 2:00pm and 5:00pm and visit as many sukkot as you would like. Maps will be available.
If you would like to host community members in your sukkah, please sign up by Sunday, September 20. Hosts should be home by 2:00pm and provide simple kosher snacks or treats (no full meal needed). Please note any accessibility details on the form.

We welcome everyone to join us for a Minyan, whether it's once a week or every weekday!
Please email the Shul to RSVP or to join the Minyan WhatsApp group. RSVPs are appreciated.
Morning and evening weekday services are followed by a brief halachic insight by Rabbi Hirsch or Rabbi Gotlib. Amud Yomi follows most morning services.

Selichot are recited during the week until Erev Yom Kippur. Morning services start 10 minutes earlier than normal on weekdays, followed by Selichot.

- Join the Kiddush (setup) Committee
- Join the Hospitality Committee
