Simchat Torah Project ~ In Commemoration of October 7
Due to the generosity of the Mekor community, our shul is privileged to participate in a global initiative to mark the 1st anniversary of October 7.
A new me’il (Torah cover) was created in Israel for each of the participating synagogues worldwide, with an embroidered dedication in memory of the 1200 souls and the many soldiers and hostages who have since died, Al Kiddush Hashem, and the name of one of the kedoshim. Please click here to learn more about the events that will take place, in Israel and at Mekor, in connection with the Simchat Torah Project.
